BONUS

Unibet Sports has a rather decent bonus – although quite small. When you place your first £20 Bet, should you lose it, you will get your stake back in your account. Effectively offering you a free bet – but it is only open to UK players and residents and requires you to play through the refunded stake 6 times before it is eligible for withdrawal.

LOYALTY / VIP PROGRAMME

Although it doesn’t seem that Unibet have a VIP team for their Sportsbook, we have been told that any high betters are taken care of. Not to mention that with regular promotions including free tickets to major sports competitions available to all, their Loyalty programme effectively builds itself.

MARKETS

Unibet Sports has a large but rather odd selection of bets available. Some of the funniest we’ve seen so far include a bet on Eric Cantona to become President – where you can only stake money on ‘Yes.’ Aside from rather random topics, players can bet on Sports, TV, Politics and a whole host of different markets – there is definitely something for everyone here. They even have Live Betting available…

PAYMENT

There is a large selection of payment methods available at Unibet Sports including Credit Cards, Neteller, Moneybookers, UKash, Paysafe and many more. Please be aware that some of these are subject to fees.

WE SAY...

When we went to check out Unibet Sports, we were pleasantly surprised. Although this may not carry the same weighting as some of the other bigger brands, it had a lot to offer. Their £20 Risk-free Bet proved unnecessary as we were fortunate enough to win our first wager, although the notion that it was there proved helpful in how risky we were.

The Betting markets on offer are quite vast. We found ourselves staring at what seemed like an endless list of potential bets, both Live and pre-event, however did find ourselves slightly bemused by some of their more ‘outrageous bets’ including Cantona for the French Presidential Election and whether Paris Hilton would be engaged by the end of the year … who bets on these things!?

Perhaps the greatest part about the site was that Unibet was giving all of its’ bettors the chance to win a fantastic trip to Euro 2012 just for staking a £5 bet on the African Cup of Nations. We’re no betting experts but £5 for the chance to win a trip worth several thousand seemed like good odds to us.
In general, Unibet Sports has a lot to offer and is moreover a great site for betting. If it loses its’ extremely random betting markets under the Non-Sport section and replaced them with some more appealing non-sport related bets – it would be better than great, but for now we will leave it with a ‘thumbs up’ and a ‘we’ll be back again’ wave.
