It has been confirmed that David Haye will fight Tyson Fury on the 28th September in the Manchester Arena.

It is arguably one of the biggest heavyweight fights to be held in the United Kingdom for quite a number of years. David Haye has come out of retirement and is the former WBA heavyweight champion, and is keen to get into the ring with the 25 year old whose last fight was in April when he stopped the American Steve Cunningham in the 7th round. Online betting operator Bet365 has Haye as the overwhelming favourite priced up at 2/9.

The fight gets the two best heavyweights in the UK to find out who is the best, even though there is no title or belt on the line. However, this should not really matter to two fighters who will definitely try their very best for the win. Haye suffered a hand injury while training, had to pull out from his last fight against Manuel Charr, but this should not be an issue in September and hopefully the fight will live up to all the hype which will certainly increase as the date draws closer.

Haye will have a lot to fight for, with a win bringing back into real contention for world title shot. Tyson Fury will be no push-over, the fighter is taller and has a longer reach than Haye. Although Tyson is younger, he has gone 21 fights without a defeat, in comparison to Haye’s 28 fights with 2 defeats. It will very interesting whether youth can outdo a fighter coming out of retirement, especially as Fury has also met and beaten Chisora.

WIth betting operators having the outright winner of the match priced at such unattractive odds. The best bet will be either to bet on the Tyson Fury providing an upset and/or Round Betting. For punters who would much rather see the fighters in action early on in the match before making their mind up, can also enjoy Bet365 In-Play betting. One can also bet on the each round, during the fight which is quite an experience!
