NeoGames has obtained a licence for the Danish market.

It's a highly regulated market that produces outstanding players and is much-coveted by affiliates and operators alike. Now NeoGames, online scratch card provider, has formally entered the Danish market with the announcement that the company has obtained a licence to offer gambling services to citizens.

Shay Bar-Joseph, Managing Director of NeoGames, said that the company was excited about the prospect of entering the market. 'We have high hopes and are thrilled to enter the newly regulated market in Denmark.'

The licence, which was awarded by the Danish Gambling Authority, permits NeoGames to provide its 'soft' games to Danes. The gap in the market was spotted by Bar-Joseph, who said that other regulated markets such as Italy and Belgium provided the proof that consumers don't necessarily want 'hardcore' casino games. He hopes that NeoGames' mass market approach will fill the demand for instant play games.

Following the approval of the licence it is anticipated that NeoGames products will be available shortly, as several companies have already lined up to strike deals so they can launch websites with the games.

NeoGames' entry into the Danish market closely follows its entry into the Belgian market in March of this year. Since its launch in 2005, the scratch card company has quickly established itself as a market leader in the field of instant win games.
